Wheat germ oil is an unsaturated fatty acid obtained by cold pressing the germ of the wheat kernel. It is also produced by the solvent extraction process or the combination of pressing and solvent extraction of wheat kernel. It is amber to light brown in appearance with a heavy odor and nutty flavor.
